We successfully graduated the Fifth Batch of Fellows for the Conversations for Change (C4C) Global Entrepreneurship Fellowship Programme on December 6, 2023. An additional Twenty-three (23) young entrepreneurs received empowerment in the form of - training, inspiration, motivation, and equipment provision to help them carve out a place in society and use their abilities to better their communities, nations, and even the entire globe. We concluded the 2023 programme with a spectacular graduation celebration following a rigorous year of training and capacity-building seminars, internships, and business clinic sessions.

The ongoing global pandemic of the Coronavirus has made it more evident than ever before, that we are a truly inter-connected world. Issues of North, South, West, East, race, tribe, ethnicity, white, black, rich, poor, language or even national/geographical boundaries are all in the end irrelevant. We are one people with a common destiny. In very frighteningly real and tangible ways, the fate of one affects the fate of the other. It shocks and saddens me to realize that somehow, we still haven’t quite internalized that self-evident truth.

Change should never be change at any cost. The change to work and strive for, should be carefully arrived at and not based largely on sentiments.
